Coal India Limited (CIL) is a Schedule ‘A’ – Maharatna Public Sector Undertaking under the Ministry of Coal, Government of India. It is the largest coal producer and largest company in the world. It operates 345 mines with a manpower of approximately 2.55 lakh. CIL has now issued a new employment announcement for recruitment. Eligible and interested candidates can apply for the posts listed below. Applications are invited from eligible candidates as per the details given below.

Job Role:

Management Trainee

Educational Qualification:

i) BE / B.Tech/ B.Sc. with at least 60% marks. (Engg.) Must have passed.

Or

ii) M.Sc. with at least 60% marks. / M.Tech. Must have passed in Geology or Applied Geology or Geophysics or Applied Geophysics.

Age Limit:

Maximum age limit for GENERAL (UR) / EWS category as on 04-August-2021 is 30 years.

The upper age limit is OBC (Non Creamy Layer) 3 years and SC / ST – 5 years.

Salary Details:

The minimum monthly salary for the first year is Rs. 50,000 will be provided.

From the second year onwards a minimum of Rs. 60,000 to a maximum of 1,60,000 will be provided.

Application Fee:

Non-refundable fee of Rs. 1000 / – and GST- Rs. 180 / – in total Rs. 1180 / – (Rupees one thousand one hundred and eighty only). To be paid

Applicants belonging to SC / ST / PwD / Employees of Coal India Limited and its subsidiaries are exempted from payment.

Selection Method:

1. Eligible applicants should have participated in the Engineering Degree Aptitude (GATE) examination. CAT – 2021 Marks Applicants will be selected on the basis of order, category wise ratio of 1: 1.50 and requirements.
2. Only 2021 CAT marks are valid for Coal India Limited Management Training Recruitment and CAT score / marks of 2020 or earlier are not valid.
3. Similarly, the final list of selected applicants will be uploaded on the CIL website.
4. The information will be communicated only to the CIL website and the applicant’s registered email ID to inform about the verification of certificates and initial medical examination by CIL.
